Why Hoyt Compound Bows are sought out by many?

Background:
Due to growth of economic development and modernization, not many people uses bamboo sports bow or long eared composite bow. If you were a newbie in the archery, you might find that there is a little similarity between Manchu bow and Tibetan Composite bow. Nevertheless, if you carefully observe between the two, you can surely find that the ears of Tibetan Composite Bow is shorter than that of the Manchu Bow. Because this makes it easier for the archer to maintain the bow. Moreover, it could shoot a medium weight arrow slighter faster than a Machu Bow would do, of the same poundage.
With advancement in technology and livelihood of the people, now not many people use the conventional bow, instead people were looking for the best bow they could get.  Because of their love of archery; whether you are a local athlete or a hobbyist, people begin to collect the best bow available in the market and imported bows are quite popular in Qinghai Tibetan Region.
Of course, there were many brands which produces high quality bows but why Hoyt not others?
The Old Hoyt Compound bows are in huge demand in Qinghai, China. Approximately 98% of the populace use the Hoyt Brand Compound Bows and interestingly, the older variants or used Compound Bows are more popular in the area.  Almost every house has a Compound Bow for either leisure or to use on special occasion like religious purpose.

Types of Hyot Compound Bows:
Target Range is fixed for both competitions and practice alike; 85 meters. Therefore, the appropriate FPS and stability of the bow is crucial. The following Models are some of the popular Hoyt Series.
Hoyt 2008 Ultra Elite XT2000 / XT3000
Hoyt Contender Elite XT2000 /XT3000
Hoyt Alpha Elite
Hoyt Pro Edge Elite

Detail Explanation of Why Hyot Compound and not others?
The Hoyt 2008 Ultra Elite bows are very popular in Tibet, China, Pro Elite and 2008 Ultra Elite almost having same design but the arrow speed FPS (Feet Per Second) it produces is much greater compared to other variants like Hoyt 2009 Pro Elite.
Hoyt 2008 Ultra Elite XT2000 is favored by many over the XT3000 variant as XT2000 has shorter bow length. Tibetan people are generally short in stature. XT3000 is longer and will have greater repercussion when you release the arrow. With continual usage, it will cause discomfort and wrist pain. Another good reason is the limb design. Older version limbs of XT2000 Pro Series are favored over the Newer Limbs. The finish paint on newer limbs tend to wear-off easily compared to the older Limbs like the XT2000 Pro series. (The most of color choice is fusion red, fusion orange and fusion green. Between the color there is a huge difference in pricing, same as Hoyt Contender Elite and Alpha Elite)
Limbs of the older XT2000 Pro series on other Hoyt Compound bows are replaced with locally made Compound bow Risers, by the major archer.  It is an interesting practice you will notice among the locals.

Locally made 2008 Ultra Elite Risers!

Sometimes, Ultra Elite series which has limbs of XT3000 are substitute and modify with XT2000. Then they cut the XT3000 limbs to exact length of XT2000 to be fitted on the locally made Ultra Elite Riser to make a new compound bow.
Regarding Cams, Spiral X Cam&1/2 produce more FPS but they are rarely used as they need a great deal of force to pull and it has to held in position for a long time with your fingers and it is quite a challenge to the archers. Cam&1/2 plus is the best choice, which has a module let-off of 65% and 75%. Module let-off 75% model has better anchor point which enables easier anchorage than the 65% variant.
Cam&1/2 plus G4 and G5 are the first choice as they are comfortable and have a suitable draw length which is appropriate for the locals. Locally made Cam&1/2 plus G4 and G5 parts are therefore quite common.

Modified Limbs with local made riser! Even the Hoyt Prevail 37 cams changed locally made Cam&1/2 Plus G4.

In the Hoyt Contender series, there are two types of it. Contender and Contender elite compound bows. Contender Elite bow having a stiffer riser is favored. Since local Tibetan don’t use Sight (to shoot), therefore, stiffer riser is appreciated here. You probably wondering what might be the reason, it is because, instead of Sight “to aim and shoot”, the locals aim through the riser and tip of the arrow to shoot the target. Stiffer riser is quite helpful to set the target.
Hoyt Alpha Elite series is very light yet has a very impressive arrow FPS. It has a stiffer riser and comparatively smaller in size people appreciates it. Therefore it is also a frequently sought out Compound bow by archers. They prefer more first version of the Alpha Elite with black limbs.
Pro Edge Elite is being a modified version of the Alpha Elite, they like it too. Its major draw length lies between 28 to 29.5 and weight of the bow is between 50 to 60. However, all the modifications are done without proper research, therefore, sometimes it is very interesting to observe that the locals modify their Cams of Hoyt Podium X Elite 37 and Hoyt Prevail 37 to Cam&1/2 Plus G4, G5. Then they complain the poor FPS and the decreased weight. Here, Cam&1/2PlusG4, G5 are quite popular, and even the locally modified (made) version of the above series are available in the market.

Conclusion Note:
Demands from Local: Hoyt compound bows are quite popular in the Tibetan archery scene. The significant portion of these compound bows which most people seek out are used and locally modified ones. Despite the high demand, not many store could deliver it. Additionally, the hefty amount charges by the local stores stern the love of local people to the archery!

Durability: Hoyt compound bows mentioned in the previous statements are truly tested by time and constant shooting. They prove to be the most durable, efficient but as mentioned in above, it is only available in limited archery stores.
